[Customer Best Practices]Development support from a consent management SaaS provider

As part of a project with Company A, which provides comprehensive consulting on privacy protection, we developed a SaaS service for website privacy policy consent management. ​
In the privacy protection field, user needs change very quickly and it is necessary to respond flexibly to sudden changes in overseas laws and regulations, so there was an urgent need to update the system to a highly customizable system. ​
Initially, the renewal was being developed by a different vendor, but development became difficult due to delays in development progress and frequent quality problems. ​
When building highly customizable services, developing accurate business flows and requirements is critical. When we decided to address this problem, our Japanese technical director and the customer carefully organized the requirements and incorporated them into the design. ​

Especially with this service,
– Specify the content of the consent banner to be displayed on the site from the management screen and obtain consent information.
・Detailed settings can be made by language settings, URL, and version.
Therefore, it was very important to define and design the requirements in detail. ​

Once this was clear, we immediately called in senior engineers to begin development, and because the requirements were clear, we were able to build the service quickly.
Furthermore, since it is a service where it is difficult to predict the traffic load by users, we have achieved a highly scalable and cost-effective system by utilizing IaC and serverless infrastructure. ​
We were able to implement the main functions in about four months from the start of requirements definition, and were able to bring the product to the pre-release stage. At launch, we’ll be adding new infrastructure developers to ensure we have enough people to work at their best. ​
